Book Week Celebrations - 24th August 2022
Planned Event: As we are celebrating book week the children were asked to come dressed as their favourite characters or themes from a book or movie. Today Hunter come as the Mad Hatter he came into the room and showed everyone how fabulous he looked. Elya came as Emma wiggle and she was funny doing a little twirl to show her peers. Tilly was Elsa from the movie frozen and she also loved showing off her dress. So at grouptime today I read a story about the Cat in the Hat. The children didn't mind the story but liked the three little pigs better. Educators also did some dressing up today and wore the costume of the cat in the hat which the children throughly enjoyed.
