Cave - 8th March 2023
Today for something different Sandra decided to make a cubby house for the children to play in. So we got a tarp and Sandra, Myself , Nathan. Elya and Hunter all helped to cover the climbing equipment with the tarp it created a cave type experience for the children. Once the equipment was covered Kavitha was at one end of the cave and Sandra and I were at the other end of the cave. We encouraged the children to go to where Kavitha was and Kavitha asked the children to take turns and go through the tunnel one at a time . Hunter went first followed by Nathan Elya and Tilly. Once they came out the other end Sandra encouraged Elya to take Autumn by the hand so she could join in too. So Elya took autumn by the hand and they both walked off towards the other end of the cave towards Kavitha. Kavitha encouraged Autumn to go through the cave. Autumn crawled in and made her way through the cave loving it. Ezekaiah was also eager to also have a turn he went up to the beginning and crawled straight in without hesitation. When Nathan came out we encouraged him to take Elliot by the hand to take him to have a turn climbing through the tunnel. Once he was at the end Elliot had no hesitation to climb through the cave. Next Ayaan, and Tilly went through and Finally Ayiik when he came in. The children loved the experience and making a cave.

All educators were really enthusiastic about the experience and encouraged all children to have a turn. We explained to the children where the start of the cave was and what they had to do. It was a really positive experience. Follow up More cubby houses
