Easter Craft Baskets - 24th March 2021
Spontaneous: Today we got a start on Easter craft since it is coming up soon. The Joeys started to decorate an Easter basket. The children were asked who would like to do some craft Jude came over first and sat down he was given a cup and some Easter stickers and love hearts to decorate their cup with. I showed Jude how to peel the stickers off the paper and then he proceeded to peel the stickers off one by one and stick them on to his cup. as he was sticking them down I asked Jude "what he was on his stickers" Jude said " bunny". Once he was finished sticking all his stickers down then Emilia and Nyiel came over and sat down and they were both given a cup and some stickers I showed them how to peel off the stickers and Emilia started to peel off the stickers and stick them around her cup. Nyiel was watching closely too see how I was peeling the stickers off the paper. Then Nyiel started to peel the stickers off and started to stick the stickers to her cup. While the two girls were doing their craft Aarav came over to watch once the girls had finished it was Aarv turns he decorated his cup and Hiranya came over and also decorated a cup. Hiranya needed some help peeling off the stickers but was able to stick them on to her cup. Lastly Jack, Aarvi and Hunter had a turn of decorating their Easter basket The younger children needed help to peel the stickers off and hunter needed help to stick them to his cup.

Interpretation
Critical reflectionDuring this experience I was able to intentional teaching by showing the children how to peel off the stickers and put them onto their cup. It allowed opportunities for me to teach the children a new skill. It was a a very engaging small group experience which allowed for lots of educator engagement. Follow up. More Easter Craft.
