Planned Event:
This week is dress up week at Koala corner. Today is favourite character dress up day. Few Joeys children and educators came in their favourite character dress ups.
Joeys:
Nathan - Fire man
Hunter = Pumpkin
Dylan = Iron man
Tilly = Princess
Shalini = Dora the explorer
Ezekaiah = Bart Simpson
Joeys educators:
Sandra = Harry Potter
Kylie = Batman
Massa= Little red riding hood
Kavitha - Shikari Shambu (Indian comic character = Hunter Shambu)
Lavinia= Fairy
The children and educators enjoyed their favourite character dress up. They all asked each other about their characters.

EYLF Outcomes
Outcomes: 5: Children are effective communicators Elements: 5.1 Children interact verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes. Children in this learning experience were able to communicate about their favourite character dress ups.

This learning experience can be linked to Rogoff's theories. She believes that adults have a role in guiding children's learning and that language is important for children's learning.
Interpretation
Critical Reflection: All the educators in the Joeys room dressed up as their favourite character which will encourage more children to participate throughout the dress up week.Follow up: continue with the dress up week
